A Union of Metal and Stone Form a Metallic Textured Finish

When natural stones are extracted from the depths of the Earth they often contain metallic elements for a bright textured feel. To capture this look and feel, Cromas created a series of Natural Metallic Stone paint effects that blends real metallic paints in colors like Zinc and Bronze with a dark patina to achieve the look of mineral nuggets.

Much like our Lithos River Stone series of paint effect, these products start with a textured base followed by a shiny layer of metallic paint. After the dark patina is dry, it is sanded away to reveal a surface that incorporates a shiny texture with deep character from the patina.

The result is a series innovative stone effect that allows any surface to be transformed into natural architectural elements. This painting process is suitable for small, large, and complex surfaces.

For testing of this paint effect, a 1 kg sample kit is available for purchase. The sample kit will contain 1 kg of each paint needed to make the effect. We supply primer, special effect paints, topcoat along with hardener and thinner to prepare for spraying. This can paint a 4 m2 area.

The paints can be applied on these surfaces:

• Metal – Iron, Aluminium, Brass, etc.
• Plastics – ABS, ABS-PC, etc.
